DOE and VA Team Up to Improve Healthcare for Veterans
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Department of Energy (DOE) are partnering to drive technology innovation and transform health care delivery for Veterans with the Million Veterans Program. Secretary Perry has brought in Navy Seal, Morgan Luttrell to help with this effort.

Secretary Perry has made it abundantly clear that he values the role that the DOE National Labs play in both the science and energy industries. He has already traveled to several labs across the Nation, and is continuing to do so – this week even! A recent podcast on the Labs was even given the thumbs up from Bill Gates.

According to data from the Census Bureau and the U.S. Energy Information Administration, with new pipeline and LNG export capacity coming online soon, the US should close out 2017 as a net exporter of natural gas, a situation that hasn’t been seen since 1957.
